I started going to Bob in the spring of this year. I am very happy with the cut and the color (which he brilliantly matched so well with my existing color). My hair is very thick and curly and I usually straighten. It’s time consuming, but my preferred style. Bob, knowing the time I spend straightening, suggested a keratin treatment. I considered it for years, but was never confident to try a stylist who does it. Tonight I did and couldn’t be happier. For the first time in my life, I have care free straight hair and I love it! Before and after pics below. If you are considering the treatment, i recommend you talk to Bob. If you’re just looking for great color and cut, I also recommend Bob (and company-the entire staff is pretty awesome).
I am privileged to have Bob as my stylist for well over a year now, and have been seeing him monthly for a cut and color of my short hair. I started with a very short pixie and decided to grow it out about 8 months ago. He has been absolutely fantastic with all of my cuts and colors, including those awkward in-between lengths during the grow-out period! Not only is he an amazing stylist, but he is also a very kind human who will work with you to figure out what is going to work best for your hair with a style you'll love! The salon itself is warm and welcoming, and all of the staff are awesome as well. I also love the fact that they have products for sensitive skin- a difficult thing to find in this industry. I highly recommend Bob, and Pixie Salon, for all of your styling needs!
Haircut was ok, maybe I confused stylist with pictures of what I wanted. Haircolor was definitely not what I showed a picture of. It looked right in the shop, but at home and in different light (including outside), the color was wrong. Should have shown/picked out hair swatch to make sure I got what I wanted instead of depending on stylist. For the $$$ spent, I'll go back to Metamorphosis where I get what I want.
Came here for the first time and I loved the cozy feel of the place. It was so nicely decorated and spacious, almost like being at home. I had Bob as my stylist for a blow out and he took the time to understand the needs of my particular hair and was very pleasant to speak to. My hair came out gorgeous considering I have curly hair and it usually curls up as soon as I walk out. Several hours later my hair is still straight and I love it. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good hair salon!
I had a pixie cut for almost 15 years. With the pandemic I let my hair grow out to about shoulder length. I tried to embrace it but it’s just not me. I went to Pixie to see Bob - read his bio and knew he was the hairstylist I needed. My pixie cut is back!! I am over the top happy with the outcome - it’s beautiful and the highlights came out exactly how I envisioned they would look. Bob takes the time to truly understand what his clients want. Pixie's Hairstylist Bob is the best!! No one else can handle my very thick and curly hair like he does! He is so professional, skilled, friendly and courteous. Most beautiful hair color I've ever had, and the best haircut, too. Courtney is exceptional! I have a short bob (which is apparently very difficult to cut) and a natural reddish color, and Courtney does them both so well. She's also a lovely person, and the entire vibe at Pixie is welcoming and warm. I love this salon.
Talk about an awesome first experience at a salon I’ve been wanting to try! Darlene was super amazing and did an awesome job. She created such a fun, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. If you’re nervous about getting your hair done, please see Darlene. She is the best and you’ll leave super happy!
